Photogrammetry I

Central projection, plane transformation, spatial similar transformation. Normal case, accuracy analysis. Surveying aerial cameras, resolution. Planning and takeing of aerial photos. Stereoscopy vision and survey. Methods of orientation of one photo, orientation of stereopair. Photogrammetric mapping. Accuracy of stereo-evaluation. Aerotriangulation, block adjustment. Close-range photogrammetry, basic approachs and applications. Acquisition of digital images. Orthophotomaps. Image processing, correlation. Digital photogrammetric workstations. Automatization.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Student obtains knowledge about survey by photogrammtric method. Orientation of images by aerotriangulation. Evaluation of vector map. Collection of data for digital model of terrain. Creation of orthophoto. Creation of 3D model by close range photogrammetry.

The course is taught through lectures, practical classes and self-study assignments. Attendance at lectures is optional, but attendance at classes is compulsory.
