Prerequisites

Mechanic-physical properties of earth materials, principle s of structures foundation, principles of concrete structures design.

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations. The Excursion will be a consultation with a specialist in the field of landscape ecology.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Attendance 80%, submit of projekt, development of sub-projects in the course.

Course curriculum


1. Preparation buildings - legislation, acquisition and data processing, phasing of construction. Operating records.
2. Earthwork and rock - basic division, drilling and blasting operations, technology, mechanization.
3rd Soil and rock work - excavations and embankments, dikes material, technological process of construction machinery.
4th Proposal for an open trench for water works.
5th Protective structures - sheet piling, ground and pile walls, technology implementation and mechanization.
6th Protective structures - strengthening injection, dotěsňovací work, anchoring, technology and mechanization.
7th Concrete work on water construction work and expansion blocks, transport of fresh concrete machinery.
8th Construction site - buildings, sites specific water management, organization building courtyard.
9th Pipe materials, Laying, inspecting and testing of pipeline laid.
10th Sewer and water pipe lines, construction, maintenance, reconstruction work.
11th Trenchless technology, especially for water and sewer systems - Tunnelling, shielding, extrusion,, micro-tunneling, directional drilling.
12th Finishing work. The proposed method works, technical regulations work, work safety and environmental protection.
13th Basic duties technology, master, site supervision during construction and water management works.
