Presentation

FA-PREAcad. year: 2015/2016

Parametric design is the current generative method as in architecture and in other artistic fields. The artist does not directly resulting work of art, but defines an algorithm (a sequence of actions by which the software creates 2D or 3D structure) and based on the input parameters of the final form of the work can effectively change continuously.
The theoretical introduction establish practical exercises. Selected examples will introduce the possibility of graphical scripting editor Grasshopper. In the second half of the semester students will be in collaboration with the teacher to create their own area and spatial designs that will be visualized in rendering the V-ray.
