Engineering and Environmental Engineering

Optional subject "Building and Environmental Engineering" builds on the knowledge and skills acquired in a bachelor program in the subjects of building construction, building and construction projects. It will deepen the knowledge of design and architecture structures with respect for environmental contexts that influence the ongoing transformation of the environment. Account will be linked to characterize the contemporary era. Especially the ongoing global climate change, drawing on non-renewable energy resources and their replacement.

Course curriculum

Lecture: Presentation of findings from the field of scientific research and their implementation in architectural theory and art. Focus will include performance bonds and relationships that arise by interaction of architecture and environment. An important part of teaching is determining a position, which in these processes plays an architect engineer.
Events: Individual work with students and development of knowledge and information seminar will be conducted through. Students will be encouraged to self-certify the activity in which the acquired knowledge base level.

It will deepen the knowledge of design and architecture structures with respect for environmental contexts that influence the ongoing transformation of the environment. Account will be linked to characterize the contemporary era. Especially the ongoing global climate change, drawing on non-renewable energy resources and their replacement.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Lessons are held in the semester cycle of lectures and seminars. The workshops will be required active student work. The chosen form will be delivered and written presentations.
Of the total scale of 13 teaching weeks, students will have a duty to actively participate in at least the 10 educational units.
