Interactive Technologies

FaVU-1IAT-LAcad. year: 2016/2017

Students are taugt to use the so-called graphic programming interface, esepecially Max/MSP/Jitter on the Windows and MAcOSX platform. Students will be leartn to use alernative hardware (MIDI controller, Arduino, authorial hardware) and small singleboard computer Raspberry Pi 3.

Students will apply the acquired skills of their own work (project).

The basics of multimedia tehcnologies.
The basics of the knowledge of MacOS.

Course curriculum

1. practical knowledge of Max 7 (Max/MSP/Jitter).
2. collective realization of easy practical audio, video, and 3D projects.
3. Realization of small projects using alternative hardware (Arduino, etc).
3. Realization of individual project which will be classified.

Aims

All presented tools are used to create interactive installations, to work with image and sound in real time, to create multimedia performances and interactive theatre elements.
