Ecological Engineering

The technical aspects of environment, methods of protection against unfavourable effects of physical fields. The system design of ecological projects and consideration of influence on the environment. The special parts from theoretical ecology, quasi-linear thermodynamics of ecosystems, application of synergetics. The methods of emission suppression, suppression of noise, electromagnetic fields and radiation. Treatment with waste and cleaner production.

The fundamental knowledge from technical aspects of environment,
system design of ecological projects and consideration of influence on the environment. Theoretical knowledge from thermodynamics of ecosystems and from synergetics.

The subject knowledge on the Bachelor´s degree level is requested.

The technical aspects of environment, feature of biosphere sources, wrecking systems.
The physical fields in environment: noise, vibration, electrostatic and magnetic fields, electromagnetic field and radiation.
Methods of protection against unfavourable effect of chemicals and physical fields, admissible concentration of pollutants and dose.
The system design of ecological projects, economy of projects, consideration of influence on environment.
Theoretical ecology, model of ecosystem, homeostatic conditions. The physics of atmosphere.
The ecological crisis and theory of catastrophe. State of a person´s health of population. Multidimensional methods of statistic analysis.
The quasi-linear thermodynamics of ecosystems, the density of entropy, application of synergetics.
The regeneration of energy types and their non traditional form of source.
The techology used in environment, suppression of emission, the protection of ozone layer.
Methods for suppression of noise, sound-proof construction, protection before noise effects.
The protection before electromagnetic fields and radiation. Electromagnetic compatibility in environment.
Treatment with waste, the methods of cleaner production. The ergonomy of working environment.
Legislative of environment, the international agreements for protection of environment.
