The first part deals with the specifics of scientific writing, the preparation of research with the aim of publishing its results, acquiring the skills of effective presentation, gaining an overview of the areas of support and results of research, development and innovation. The student will receive advice on preparation of grant application, ethical behavior, organizational personnel and economic preparation and project management and self-management. Students will get acquainted with methods of work with information in the field of scientific publications. The output is in a form of gradually presented partial seminar works.The second part begins with a thorough and correct introduction of probability, deriving the basic probability properties. Furthermore, the random variable, its numerical characteristics and the most used distribution are defined. This is followed by the descriptive statistics first and then by the issue of statistical hypothesis testing, the choice of the appropriate test and the explanation of the conclusions of the individual tests.In the first chapters of the third part, the teaching focuses on collection of information from available electronic resources, their correct use and quoting, the students will get the following chapters and advice on creating a professional text and selecting a suitable magazine for its publication. In the last chapters, the course focuses on the dissemination of the results of the scientific work and the citation analyzes.
