is based on the book of the same title by Richard Schechner - Routledge 2006
and his other book Performance Theory - Routledge 2003

Students know the structure of areas of the Master's State Examinations. They know individual themes, they are aware of their scope and they know a core and suplementary literature and further resources that can be used for the individual study of the MSE areas.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching takes place in the form of group consultations of the teacher with the students about the assigned semestral tasks. Teaching includes lectures and workshops on semester (theme) topics provided by external lecturers.

Aims

The aim of the course is to introduce students to the Theory of Performance Art, which is also one of the area of the Master's State Examination (MSE).

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Minimal presence 50 %. Every absence will be compensated by a paper essay.
