Physical activity 2

The subject deals with forms of exercises with one's own body or with the use of aids that are focused on fitness development (athletics, swimming, canoeing, fitness and wellness, physioprograms, TRX, fitness training, cycling, Nordic walking, HEAT program, indorcycling, indoor rowing) or to compensate unilateral load (development of strength, force velocity and force endurance capabilities). The course also includes the issue of organization and operation of fitness monitoring facilities.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

After completing the course Physical Activity 2, the student will be familiar with physical activities supporting the maintenance and development of fitness and acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for maintaining and developing fitness through physical activities and information on the use of sports monitoring technologies in group and individual training sessions focused on muscle and cardiorespiratory apparatus.
The graduate of the course will be able to assess the suitability of the use of monitoring sports technologies during fitness exercises (eg individual and group pulse rate monitoring, load size).
The written test will test the acquired knowledge.

Course curriculum

The subject deals with forms of exercises with one's own body or with the use of aids which are focused on the development of fitness (athletics, swimming, canoeing, fitness and wellness, physioprograms, TRX, fitness training, cycling, Nordic walking, HEAT program, indorcycling, indoor rowing) or to compensate unilateral load (development of strength, force velocity and force endurance capabilities). The course also includes the issue of organization and operation of fitness monitoring facilities.
It is based on the basic knowledge of modern sports training and enables students to understand and understand the forms of exercise that support and develop physical fitness. Students will be introduced to various forms and ways of monitoring stress in fitness training.

2. - 12. Active muscle involvement, movement coordination and fitness training in selected sports (athletics, swimming, canoeing, fitness and wellness, physiotherapy, fitness training, cycling, Nordic walking, HEAT program, indorcycling, indoor rowing):
- demonstration of basic movement skills training
- Training resources demonstrations
- examples of compensatory exercises
- forms, methods of measurement, monitoring and testing
- excursions to selected sports organizations
- presentation of seminar papers

Aims

To improve the skills and knowledge in the field of development and maintaining fitness leading to optimal physical fitness including its monitoring and to understand the forms and possibilities of compensating for a sedentary job or unilateral burden through individual physical fitness activities.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

The course is controlled by attendance attendance - active participation in lessons. 2 unexcused absences allowed. Replacement of absences in the lessons of the sports guarantor. Attendance of 2 semester papers assigned to the introductory lesson (6th and 11th week).
