Learning outcomes of the course unit

The student will be able to master basic methods of measurements and calculations in horizontal and vertical control especially measurement elevation and survey data processing.

Prerequisites

Fundamentals of mathematics, geometry and physic. Principles of basic geodetic measurements and computations.

Co-requisites

Combinatorics, measuring errors (category, basic properties).

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations. Students also have a tutorial LMS Moodle "GE03 - Geodesy II" whose content is mainly presentations for lectures, schedule of exercises and examples develop assignments and tests.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Attendance at seminars is compulsory (2 outs can be apologized). They write the three written tests - the sum of points of all tests must be at least 50% of the total achievable points from all tests. Missed test will be replaced in the agreed date. All required programs must be completed. The exam is composed from test, numerical and oral part. 30% of the points are generated from the exercise evaluation. The total number of points is 100, for the successful completion of the exam 50% of points
