Learning outcomes of the course unit

After completing the course the student will be able to navigate independently and carry out basic risk analysis supporting structures.

Prerequisites

Zvláštní požadavky nejsou.

Co-requisites

Not applicable.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching is carried out through lectures and seminars. Lectures consist of interpretations of basic principles, methodology of given discipline, problems and their exemplary solutions. Seminars particularly support practical mastery of subject matter presented in lectures or assigned for individual study with the active participation of students.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

A condition for granting credit is a semestral work. The test will consist of written and oral parts. Pass the written part successfully is necessary for completing the oral part.

Aims

Basic concept of risk approaches to assess supporting structures, systems approach to risk identification. Effect of study is reflected in the analysis and modelling of problems in the area of risk engineering and the ability to articulate the critical points (identification of dangerous sites) of the project - existing structures.
