History of Architecture

The subject acquaints students with history of architecture and construction building, it is concerned with chronological order of architectural concept’s development (solution of disposition, formation of architectural space solution, compositional principles, architectural accidence), development of building constructions, used materials and construction methods, which incident of particular styles since Antiquity until the Historicism of the 19th century.

Wider understanding of the history of architecture and development of building structures in the larger context – level of civilisation and spiritual culture (socioeconomic formation, level and principle of production forces and relations, philosophical and historical aspect, geographical conditions).
