Researching into subject will be constructions of engineering character – steel and bridges constructions, tower constructions, extraordinery forms of long – roof constructions, load – bearing construction of glass, aluminium, stainless steel, composite, nosné, structural and diagnostic ivestigation of load-bearing and masony structure, antiseismic constructions

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The course is directed to the knowledge of supporting structures of complex forms and structures, graphical options to determine the optimal shape design of buildings and ground engineering.

Prerequisites

Knowledges of load – bearing structures of level bachelor´ s.

Load – bearing stuctures - glass.
Load – bearing stuctures – aluminium, stainless steel
Load – bearing stuctures - composite
Steel bridges – design parametrs, suspension, arches, cable - stayed bridges
Concrete bridges – types of plate, girder, frame, arches
Skyscrapers – constructions type, design, parametrs, material solving, forming types , bracing
Long – span roof system - steel
Long – span roof system – concrete, wood
Tower- like constructiuons – masts, lookout towers, towers
Structural and diagnostic investigation of load-bearing and masony structures
Strengtering and repairs of historic monumental constructions with in view of conservation of origin profile and structural acting
Antiseismic constructions

Aims

To completely idea of ​​the design of the structure is essential to understanding more complex forms and structural systems that can not normally be included in a bachelor's degree. These findings thus adequately expand and deepen knowledge of the appropriate master's level education.
