Rhinoceros

The subject will learn students to manage 3D modelling (advanced NURBS volume modelling) and basics of visualisation in Computer Aided Design. Rhinoceros 5.0 will be used in the course to reach this goal.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will acquire advanced theoretical knowledge of modelling using NURBS curves and surfaces.
Students will acquire basic knowledge of modelling in polygonal meshes and an overview of other methods of 3D modelling.
The student will acquire basic knowledge about rendering.
Students will acquire practical skills in modelling in Rhinoceros 5.0.
Students will acquire basic knowledge of 2D drawings adjustment in Rhinoceros 5.0.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of any CAD environment, i. e. 2D work (AutoCAD or Rhinoceros welcomed).

- lights, materials and rendering
- leftovers: printing, annotating, layouts
- work on the final assignment

Cílem je získat teoretické znalosti a praktické dovednosti při vytváření 3D modelů v programu Rhinoceros 4.0.
