Learning outcomes of the course unit

Extending knowledge in the field of photography in contemporary art. Developed critical thinking. Confronted with common artistic expressions.

Prerequisites

Interest in spiritual approach to photography. Conceptual thinking. Creative maturity and greater experience with the medium of photography in contemporary art. The high technical level is indisputable.

Individual consultations, brainstorming sessions, cooperative-learning techniques. Reading and alalyzing of texts.

Course curriculum

Semestrial work - “Photographic book”
Students must create publication that will reflect the mature approach to photography.
The greatest emphasis is put on the students' ability to understand and analyze situation of contemporary art.
Mandatory studio meetings, individual consultations and discussions about students' major work. The studio visits by authorities from the art word.
