Course detail
Telecommunication Systems
FEKT-MKC-TLSAcad. year: 2020/2021
The course introduces the principles of telecommunication systems, especially in the area of telephone exchanges. It covers hardware and software solutions, signalling systems and ensuring additional services. It focuses on the products of traditional manufacturers with closed source code and, in particular, on progressive telephone exchanges with open source. The theoretical parts are always accompanied by practical examples of implementation, in particular progressive exchanges with open source. Laboratories focus on exchanges with open source: Asterisk, Freeswitch, YATE and products of traditional manufacturers: Siemens, Alcatel, Panasonic and others.
