Learning outcomes of the course unit The subject extends the overview of principles and approaches to critical application management solutions and the possibilities of their implementation in the company. For the practical part, a specialized laboratory for infrastructure education is used communication systems.

Managerial competencies: decisions on the accuracy of proposed CCI solutions and their technical and technological aspects
Specialized Competencies:
  - decision-making of system proposals and CCI project solutions and their technical and technological aspects
  - Practical knowledge of monitoring and setting of CCI elements

Prerequisites

Knowledge in the scope of the subject Communication Infrastructure Teaching at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Brno University of Technology in the bachelor study field Managerial Informatics, 1st year of the LS and successful passing of the exam in this subject.
Knowledge in the scope of the subject of Internal Communication Technology taught at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Brno in the Bachelor's degree in Managerial Informatics, 3rd year of LS and successful passing of exam in this subject.

Teaching takes place only in the form of exercises focusing on practical tasks of individual solutions.

Exam - oral - covers the entire subject matter content of the subject

Course curriculum

Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to familiarize the students with critical communication infrastructure, their analysis, risk analysis of critical communication systems, design and practical verification of design functionality in multidimensional topology of critical communication infrastructures. This is mainly about verification in:
- 2D topologies using existing redundancy control protocols
- 3D topologies using existing and newly developed protocols for redundancy management
- 4D topologies using existing and newly developed protocols for redundancy management
- Practical verification of newly developed protocols for redundancy management

Aims

Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to familiarize the students with critical communication infrastructure, their analysis, risk analysis of critical communication systems, design and practical verification of design functionality in multidimensional topology of critical communication infrastructures.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Participation in exercises is systematically controlled. The student is obliged to apologize in advance for the absence. It is entirely up to the teacher to judge the reason for the apology. Forms of replacement for missed lessons are determined by the teacher individually.
