The course focuses on characteristic features of business professional communication. It provides students with relevant specialist language and professional communication skills they will need in the workplace.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

The course at upper-intermediate level (B2 according to CEFR) is designed to prepare students for various economic professions. It will enrich their professional vocabulary and enable them to express themselves more authoritatively beyond their immediate professional context.

Prerequisites

Professional English 2 continues the course Professional English 1 covering the first half of the course book (U1 - 6). Requirements from Professional English 1 are necessary prerequisites to continue in Professional English 2.

The course it taught by means of contact tutorials presenting and explaining the topics covered. It includes also individual work of students.
