3. Transmission of letters. Transmission of numbers. Transmission of time. Transmission technique.
4. Standard words and phrases (relevant R/T). Radiotelephony call sign for aeronautical (ground) stations including use of abbreviated call signs. Radiotelephony call sign for aircraft including use of abbreviated call signs.
5. Transfer of communication. Test procedures including readability scale. Read back and acknowledgement requirements.
6. Radar procedural phraseology I.
7. Radar procedural phraseology II.
8. Radar procedural phraseology III.
9. SELCAL, TCAS, ACARS phraseology and procedures.
10. Relevant weather information terms.
11. Action to be taken in case of communication failure.
12. Distress and urgency procedures.
13. General principles of VHF propagation and allocation of frequencies.
