The solution of strategic issues and information development tasks as a source of competitiveness for a company in the information society. Analysis of the options for the use of information and communication technologies in connection with the corresponding economic and non-economic benefits. The key topics are mainly at the level of strategic informatics management in relation to business management.

2. Process management.
3. Business Process Reengineering.
4. Methods, techniques and standards of business process modelling.
5. IT Governance: ITIL.
6. IT Governance: COBIT / SIX SIGMA.
7. Service-oriented architecture.
8. Outsourcing of IT services (software as a service - SaaS, relationship to other technologies - ASP, Cloud, etc.)
9. Efficiency of IS/ICT (performance metrics, costs and benefits of IS/ICT).
10. IS/IT security - basic concepts, safety in the context of strategic management - I.
11. IS/IT security - business information security, security policies and measures, security organization, legal aspects of IS and related issues - II.
12. Business Continuity Management.
13. IS/IT audits.
