Prerequisites

Students should enter the course Production Management with knowledge from the area of basic economic approaches (national economic indicators, market characteristics - supply, demand, cost curves). They should also have knowledge from the area of company economics, and the use of mathematical disciplines in decision-making tasks. It is assumed that students already have knowledge in the area of preparations for manufacturing from a given production branch from their Bachelor’s studies (creation of technical documentation - project, construction, technology of a new or innovated product). At the same time, the student has a basic knowledge of production management in the area of the calculation of the production capacity of a place of work, the manufacturing lead time of components and manufacturing system projects. They should also have knowledge from the area of business economics, and the use of mathematical disciplines in decision-making tasks.

Study results will be assessed in written + oral form.
Other requirements for the student – a semestral project, a presentation, 100 % attendance during laboratory training.
