System Integration

Learning outcomes of the course unit The subject is focused on the integration of enterprise information systems from several perspectives. The first is the integration of information systems into company processes and their management in the form of services. The second aspect is the integration of systems among themselves, explanation of the principle and use of metasystems. Another area is technological integration. The last area is the integration of data between systems and their distribution to users.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will get knowledge of the methodology for designing models of integrated information and communication technologies, modeling of structures integrating environmental information and communication systems and their perspectives in the information society.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of informatics, operating and database systems, office and internet applications and enterprise information systems at level of the bachelor's study of informatics. Knowledge of business economics, management, marketing, sales and finance at level of the bachelor's study of economics.

The course contains lectures that explain basic principles, problems and methodology of the discipline.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Zkouška má písemnou a ústní část. Písemná část je tvořena testem s 15 otázkami, na něž jsou možné variantní odpovědi a), b), c), nebo d) a 2 otevřenými otázkami. Ústní část zkoušky je třeba absolvovat tehdy, pokud výsledek písemné části nebude zcela jednoznačný pro celkové hodnocení předmětu. Zkouška je klasifikována dle stupnice ECTS. Požadavky na ukončení: Absolvování zkoušky - 100 %.

The main objective of the course is for students to acquire the knowledge necessary for managing information systems of a company in terms of system integration. Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Účast na přednáškách je nepovinná, s výjimkou přednášek zvaných externích odborníků. Na těchto přednáškách je účast povinná a kontrolovaná formou prezenční listiny. Omluvená absence na přednáškách nemůže být nahrazena konzultacemi s vyučujícím.

Syllabus

In the exercises, students practice individual ways of integration. The first area is integration at the process level, and the integration of information systems with each other using metasystems. Demonstration of Intersystems solutions - Ensemble, Caché, DeepSee. The next part deals with the integration of infrastructure and data base integration.
