Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.Techning methods include lectures, computer laboratories and practical laboratories. Course is taking advantage of e-learning (Moodle) system. Students have to write a single project/assignment during the course.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Subject is finished with examination. Classification: 0-100 points.

2.Specific problems in nuclear power plants self-consumption.
3.Use of renewable energy sources in electricity production and future perspectives.
4.Impact of large wind farms on electric power networks operation.
5.New progress in electricity production development.

Aims

Main object of this course is to acquaint students with present both renewable and non-renewable power production problems from generators technical development perspective, their principles, and their cooperation in power network. Second object is to notice power generators influence to environment.
