Grammar: Revision of narrative tenses + used to and would, linkers, adverbs and adverbial expressions, inversion, distancing, unreal uses of past tenses, conditionals (including mixed conditionals), adjectives and prepositions. Vocabulary: Memories and summer jobs at a design office/abroad, work, history and war, reviews (films/books), work, history and war, reviews (films/books), expressions with time, IT/software, money, addictions and obsessions, sounds and the human voice. Reading: Job adverts – a job I could do now/after graduating/my 'ideal job'. Writing: Job application, CV and cover letter.The BYA20 course is an UPPER-INTERMEDIATE LEVEL course which aims to improve students’ ability to:communicate fluently and spontaneously with native speakers, on a regular basis if necessary, in such a way that neither party has trouble making themselves clear or understanding the other;use the English language with a good degree of accuracy when dealing with familiar topics and using common grammatical forms; work with complex texts and generally understand the main points within.
