Course detail

Digital sculpture - 3D print 2

FaVU-1DS-2Acad. year: 2021/2022

Advanced settings of some of the most used slicers (G-code generation software) will be introduced, including an explanation of their differences and benefits. Clarification of FDM printing processes and their use or complications in creating some specific shapes. In addition, the course will include clarification of the rules for assembly work and large objects made up of multiple interconnected parts (creation of offsets, locks, appropriate dividing planes, comparatives). Attention will also be paid to the formation of joints (bonding, welding, chemical bonding), joint retouching and print defects and surface treatments (abrasive, additive, chemical).
