Definition of status and role of operation management, including service and supporting activities, standardization of work preparation. Learning outcomes of the course unit

Practical skills and knowledge for the management of pre-production stages of the production process in small and medium-sized production business entities. Assessment of the impact of the solution of new or innovated products on the environment. Application of project management in mastering the production of a new product and providing technological and assembly workplaces resources. In industrial conditions of production processes, the use of process management for the implementation of the company's portfolio.
Knowledge base for master's studies Strategic development of the company and possible further studies at technically oriented universities or faculties.

Prerequisites

The course follows the knowledge of Mathematics I and II, Business Economics, IT Design, Materials in Electrical Engineering and Data Processing.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Lectures will be carried out using didactic techniques using Power Point. They will be complemented by practical experience of practitioners in the field of TPV 2000 Plus product utilization and process management in the implementation of new product manufacturing activities.
The exercises will take place in the laboratory using software TPV 2000 Plus to verify the preparation of a new or upgraded product.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Credit:
control of continuous study and preparation for completion of laboratory exercises with the product TPV 2000 Plus during the semester and at the end of the semester to obtain credit in the form of written tests. 100% participation in laboratory exercises (compensation for absence).
Exam:
will be composed of: - written - 2 theoretical questions + calculation example - 70% evaluation
- oral exam - 30% of assessment
according to the ECTS grading scale, listed in the BUT Study and Examination Regulations.
Completion of the course for students with individual study-
-credit according to the agreement with the teacher on the possibility of working in the laboratory.
- exam - only oral.
Completion of the course in distance form:
- credit-based on the assigned seminar work for independent processing
- exam - written on the basis of individual assignment submitted electronically

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Attendance at lectures is recommended, but provides knowledge for exercises in the laboratory with the product TPV 2000 Plus. Lectures by external staff from practice are mandatory. There will be two during the semester, if the crisis situation with the Covid-19 pandemic allows.
Attendance at the exercise is mandatory. The excused absence will be compensated during the examination period, unless a distance form of training is introduced.

Scenario for the course of exercises in the LAPROCO laboratory in the subject Organization of the preparation for the production of the bachelor's study Process Management for the academic year 2020/21.

drawing parts (number of parts, use, service life, which are based on drawings that were compiled in the 1st year of study in the subject Design using IT -FEKT, the possibility of putting into operating conditions) - switch, other data,
