Learning outcomes of the course unit The course provides students with basic knowledge and skills in the field of data, functional and process modeling, which are essential for business analysis and creation of information systems for information systems. Data models. Relational data model. Relational algebra. SQL Language. Normalization of relational models. Functional modeling. Verbal description of the model. Data Flow Diagram. Flowchart. State diagram. Context diagram. Process diagram. UML language. Conceptual model.

Examination Requirements: Knowledge of the subject matter and its practical application.
Form of examination - written and oral. In the written part the students solve the given examples, in the oral part the knowledge of the theory is verified.
