Operation and Economy of Air Devices I

The course is focused on defining the position and tasks of the aircraft use in the national economy, the characteristics of individual transport disciplines, tasks performed using of the aircraft in the structure of the national economy, organization and management of civil aviation, national and supranational organizations, technical operation of aircraft , air transport, contracts and tariffs used in civil aviation and special aviation.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Courses outcomes enables students to orientate in problems of operation technology and aplication of aircraft technology in particular areas of civil aviation.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course is taught in the form of lectures that have the character of explaining the basic principles and demonstrating these principles on practical examples. The exercises are focused on practical topics presented in lectures by students tests and presentations form.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Seminars: 90% attendance at seminars, elaboration of protocols.
Examination: written and oral theoretical and practical mastery of the topics discussed.

Aims

Aim of the course is to familiarize students with the basic relationships and roles and technological processes of the various transport sectors in the national economy, the importance of air transport, with the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), International Air Transport Association (IATA) and other government and non-governmental and international organizations, organization and management civil aviation Authority, the technical preparation of the new traffic conditions in the transport section, intergovernmental and intra-corporate provision of air transport in the technical, commercial and economic use of aircraft parts and equipment for special

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Exercises are compulsory, and the attendance (90% at the minimum) is recorded. The absence (in justifiable cases) can be compensated by personal consultation with the lecturer and elaboration of individually assigned topics and exercises. Individual tasks must be finished and handed in the credit week at the latest.
