Progressive Technologies in Sheet Metal Forming

The course is intended to extend knowledge of the masters´ study programe of the engineering technology , especially of sheet metal forming and concentrating on the production and working engineering
production componens.Familiarize knowledge computing method and forming techniques for area of sheet metal forming.PhD.students are confronted with the latest results of research.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Knowledge and theirs intended in areas Progressive technologies
in sheet metal forming computing method with utilise computer technique
and formings´ techniques in areas metal forming. Obtaining wocational
knowledge make scientific access to solution problems of technological
process in forming.

Prerequisites

Students are expected to have the knowledge and skills
when they begin the course abreast masters´ study programe
engineering technology.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

The course is taught through lectures explaining the basic principles and theory of the discipline.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

The examination consists of written and oral part. The final
classification will be in accordance with the article No. 12 and 13
of the Rules for Studies and Examinations valid at the Brno
University of Technology.
It is classificated to the ECTS grading scale.

Aims

To familiarise PhD students with the use of special forming methods
in broad terms.Obtaining next theoretical knowledge make scientific
access to solution problems of technological process in forming in the 4.0 Industry.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

Attendance in lectures is recommended.
The attendance to the lectures is regularly checked and the participation in the lesson is recorded.
