Course detail
FAST-NWA027Acad. year: 2021/2022
The subject introduces students to a comprehensive view of the construction process, with a more detailed focus on the production process from the perspective of the management of a construction contract at the production division level. The subject also explains the relationships between individual entities involved in the construction process, mainly from the point of view of the contractor, and also the options involved in the successful production of a bid and subsequent work with an order. The subject focuses on the work of a building company’s production centres and operations management from the stage of signing the contract to the point of handing over the work. During the execution of the work, construction technology planning issues are handled in connection with the production plan and the analysis and coordination of resource provision. The activities of managers are discussed in great detail, including their main administrative and substantive activities, cooperation with other entities involved in the construction process outside the building company, activities begun if changes should occur with an impact on possible risk factors and their impacts on the construction process primarily during the implementation of subsidy programmes.
