Learning outcomes of the course unit

The student will be able to understand basic information that is expressed clearly and in a standard way, will be able to form short simple texts on common topics, will reach the target level A2 lower according to the CEFR

Prerequisites

Students should be familiar with grammar and vocabulary taught in the courses VYN001 and VYN002.
Grammar: conjugation of verbs to be, to have and other basic verbs, separable prefixes, personal and possessive pronouns, word order in a sentence, negation, definite and indefinite article, plural, numbers, time expressions, modal verbs, local and temporal prepositions, past tense ("Perfekt"), conjugation of the verb "werden", possessive and demonstrative pronouns in dative and accusative, ordinal numerals, adverbs - comparatives, imperative and past tense of auxiliary verbs

Vocabulary: meeting others, introducing yourself, family, food and drink, living in a house or a flat, my day, free time, learning, jobs, asking for directions, travelling - hotels, timetables, body parts and health, clothes and shopping, holidays
