Course detail
Concrete structures (K)
FAST-BL002Acad. year: 2022/2023
Load-bearing structures of one-storey and multi-storied monolithic skeleton buildings. Foundation structures.
Dimensioning of reinforced concrete members relating to limit state serviceability.
Two-ways slabs – edge and locally supported (flat-slab floor, lifted slabs). Two-way ribbed and cassette plates. Circular plates.Simple and continuous wall beams. Retaining walls.
Storage structures (bunkers and silos). Storage tanks for liquids, water towers, channels and ducts.
Precast structures – skeletons, halls, buildings from flat and spatial units.

Course curriculum
3. Single-storey monolithic frame structures of industrial halls.
4. Dimensioning of reinforced concrete members by limit state of serviceability.
5.-6. Shallow foundations of frame constructions – footings, continuous footings, grids and slabs. Deep foundations.
7. Floor structures edge supported.
8. Floor structures locally supported.
9. Lifted floor structures. Ribbed and cassette slabs. Circular slabs. Simple supported and continuous deep girders.
10. Storage tanks – bunkers and silos.
11. Troughs, tanks and water reservoirs.
12. Channels and ducts. Retaining walls.
13. Precast structures – skeletons, halls, flat and space elements.
