The student will be able to understand basic information that is expressed clearly and in a standard way, will be able to form short simple texts on common topics, will reach the target level B1 lower according to the CEFR

Prerequisites

Students should be familiar with grammar and vocabulary taught in the courses VYN001, VYN002, VYN003 and VYN004.
Grammar: conjugation of basic verbs, personal and possessive pronouns, word order, negation, definite and indefinite article, plural, basic and ordinal numbers, time expressions, modal verbs, prepositions, past tenses, adverbs, imperative,the subjunctive, reflexive verbs, question words, conjunctions weil, wenn and dass, Konjunktiv II, declination of adjectives after the indefinite article, definite article and no article; comparatives and superlatives, the passive
