Bachelor Seminar (S-PST)

FAST-BHB012Acad. year: 2022/2023

The content of the course is focused on the final, bachelor work of the students. Throughout the course the students will have to create a part of building design documentation for construction purposes. This documentation is to comply the building design documentation decree, particularly parts A, B, C, D, whereas in case of part D the attention should be on points D.1.1 and D.1.3. The documentation should be created for the building assigned individually to the student by the supervisor. It is to handle about a bigger family residence, or a family residence with a complicated disposition or with complicated foundation possibilities. As well it might handle about a family residence with an administrative space or a residential building. Nonetheless the building of choice must have a full or a partial basement. While working on the building design documentation students are bound to think about structural solution, energy saving and thermal protection, building acoustics and daylighting, fire safety, and many more aspects related to building design. Students are to apply the knowledge they obtained by attending the university to their fullest. The outputs of the course as expected to be finished in a CAD software. By successfully passing the course the students will be able to work individually just as much than in groups, and will be prepared for engineering practice and Master level studies.
