Learning outcomes of the course unit

Student will master the course objective and will know how to safely and economically design foundations of structures at different geotechnical conditions. Student will have basic knowledge about specific geotechnical problems and with basic rocky properties, rock classification and with underground urbanization.

Prerequisites

Soil formation, types of foundation soils, engineering geological investigation, strength and elasticity of materials, fundamentals of structural mechanics and soil mechanics.
