Rehabilitation of Water Infrastructure

The course deals with conception problems of solving rehabilitation of water and sewer systems (water mains, sewerage). Planning methods, survey methods of current conditions. Overview of trenchless technology methods use for rehabilitation of water mains and sewerage systems focused on local repairs, general repairs of networks and new line and repairs of objects.
The main themes of subjects are: overview of related standard specifications of legislation and standardization projects, systems of water and sewerage networks, material and diameter of water and sewerage networks, maintenance, information about current status of water and sewerage networks, classification of failures and appreciation, service life, methodology of failure removal, initial phase of works before rehabilitation, service availability of system, exploratory survey, conceptual solution of rehabilitation, rehabilitation methods, methods used and constructions build in the Czech Republic.
