Ecosystems - their interdependence and stability, biodiversity. Landscape stability and its assessment, territorial systems of ecological stability. Reclamation of devastated areas.Water in the landscape, problems in catchment areas and watercourses, revitalisation of streams and other water bodies.Fundamentals of pedology, soil care. Water erosion, possibilities of erosion control. Sustainable forest management, maintenance of non-forest areas. Basic legislation, landscape protection and subsidies for landscape care.
