Learning outcomes of the course unit

Mastering advanced knowledge from building thermodynamics, acoustics and structure of building materials. Accent is put on the current research results in the field of building thermodynamics, acoustics and building materials. Illustrations will have the form of excerpts from journal papers which enables students to acquire basic formal skills necessary for presentation of research results in scientific journals.

II. Advanced chapter from building acoustics

7.Moder methods of measurement of reverberation time (MLS)
8.Acoustis barriers designed by the method of Fresnel
9.Acoustical specific features of theaters and concert halls

III Current state of research of nano-structure of cement materials

11.Physical properties of cement C-S-H gel
