FaVU-B2M3-ZAcad. year: 2022/2023
Painting Studio 3 builds on the historically proven experience of teaching painting in an academic environment, while reflecting contemporary thinking and being open to the multitude and interconnection of art forms and media. The key to develop the potential of the students is an individual approach to each one and working with the specifics of their creative thinking. In an open and critical dialogue, students are encouraged to reflect on their artistic expression and to develop it through their own research, deepening their theoretical knowledge, and experimenting with the forms of painting and other media. The teachers assume independent creation of the students, based on their own inspiration, which they motivate both by recommendations and observations, as well as by assigning specific topics for processing. Students are encouraged to self-discovery and to understand the connections between their work and current events in their immediate surroundings, in the art world and in society. The diverse experiences, points of view and opinions that freely and respectfully meet in the studio become the basis on which future independent artistic practice can be built.
