FFA Orientation

FaVU-1RanPAAcad. year: 2022/2023

The structure of the course is based on getting familiar with the school building and all its departments. Another theme of the course is informing learners about the structure of the studies - for example, about assessment, application process, scholarship opportunities and student grant competitions or intra-faculty and national internships or erasmus program. A separate section covers the basics of academic writing, methodology, working with sources and citation standards. Participation in a sexual violence prevention workshop and a follow-up session with the school ombudsman/ombudswoman are the important pillars of the course. In the second half of the semester, the course focuses on the basics of copyright law, an introduction to the arts scene and production, and job opportunities for arts graduates. The final class is devoted to a meeting and discussion with the school leadership.
