English for the state doctoral exam

In the frame of the course, Ph.D. students individually prepare for the exam in English. Passing the exam is the alternative to DPX-JA6 or DKX-JA6 courses as a pre-condition for the doctoral state exam.

Teaching methods include active self-study based on recommended literature.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Exam: written (language test - 40 points; listening - 30 points; reading - 30 points).
Passmark: 50% in each part of the exam.
