The course is designed for the students to know, propose and use advanced research procedures and methods and to be able to adequately apply or modify them in a creative manner for the use in economic research in the field of strategic management of information systems.The course content:· Information systems management strategy. Basic methodologies used for information systems management - ITIL, Cobit.· The life cycle of information systems and their management.· Information technology, current trends. Issues of security, Cyber Law, GDPR and legal consequences.· Linking enterprise processes and information systems. Management models, IT as a service, SLA, metrics.· Effectiveness and efficiency of information systems; analyses of weaknesses of IS deployment in the company; known errors and possibilities of their solution.· The actual examination of the effectiveness and efficiency of an information system in a selected company and proposals for improvement
