The course deals with topics necessary to calculate, develop and design some parts of a thermal power station: steam boiler, steam and gas turbines etc.

Students will be able to work with technical documents, and to complete assigned tasks independently, as well as to work out the documentation in a form of a technical report.

Supervised student's work on bachelor's thesis.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

Graded credit requirements:participation in the exercises is systematically controlled, as well as partial results to be completed. Delivery of the technical report elaborated according to the EU pattern.
