Mastering the process logic and continuity in the development of a new vehicle from the first task to define the prototype. Simultaneous consideration of manufacturability, material concept, technical requirements, standards and functionality.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will acquire ability to design a new vehicle concept according to the assignment, understanding the context and the collision between the individual requirements for the new vehicle. Ability to design partial design nodes of the concept with regard to production technology, aerodynamics, design and structural properties.

Prerequisites

Knowledge of 3D CAD modeling and basics of dynamics.

The course is taught in the form of lectures and exercises with computer support.

The final grade is given by the overall evaluation of the exercises and the exam.

To acquaint students with the technical procedures for the development of modern vehicles in the concept design phase.
