The main method of the course of Czech language is a direct one, with the support of audio-visual teaching aids. If necessary, the explanation is based on the English language. Close attention is paid to the synthetic nature of the Czech language, its conjugation, declension and grammatical genders.

Entry knowledge
No knowledge of the Czech language is required. The course is not available to students with Slovak as their first language.
Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
75% active attendance and passing a test at the end of the semester are required for a successful completion of the course.
Aims
The objective of the course is to teach students to handle everyday situations in the Czech language. Next, the aim is to improve the students' knowledge of the Czech language to enable them to take part in the local social and cultural events.
Students will be able to use and understand the Czech language in everyday situations (in shops, restaurants, at school, etc.)
