Studio III - Drawing and Printmaking - summer

FaVU-B3GR-LAcad. year: 2023/2024

Students utilize acquired knowledge about drawing and graphics towards discovering new possibilities and various media. The emphasis of the third year of the studies is to work outside of known boundaries, conceptual overlaps and stepping into the unknown through creative experiments. The studio team adheres to the 'studio rules' and continues to develop advanced traditional techniques. These techniques are gradually conceptualized and critically judged by students. Students are encouraged to participate in art exchange programs and to discover different environments. They are also being prepared for applying for grants and residencies - even outside of Czech republic. The importance of students' language skills, good portfolio preparation and own artistic statement verbalization are emphasized.
