The course introduce students to instruments, methods and proceeding of communication networks analysis and management. Through communication network system decomposition students learn to define of network components and and to analyze its function. Rules for evaluation and completion of the course
The assessment is the same for all forms and types of education (including ISP)
Requirements for credit: completion of exercise tasks, preparation of a semester paper on a given topic.
Exam requirements: knowledge of the material covered and its practical application.
Form of the exam: oral – during the oral exam, the student receives two random questions for which he has a limited time of 20 minutes to prepare. The actual exam takes place by discussing the questions. The resulting rating is a weighted arithmetic mean with the following weights:
Assessment of semester work 30%
Oral exam 70%
If it is not possible to take the exam in person, the exam will be taken online via MS Teams. A functional camera on the client side is a necessary condition. Teaching is not controlled.
