1. Operations in the binary system, presentation of information in the computer
2. Logical functions, combinational logic circuits, sequential circuits
3. Basic structure of microprocessors.
4. Languages for communication with microprocessors, instruction sets, machine code, higher-level languages. Software and microcontroller programming options.
5. Software tools for design and simulation of hardware connections.
6. Fundamentals of programming microcontrollers, control of program execution, execution of instruction cycles, conditions, interruptions.
7. Bus, device communication via the bus.
8. Sensors for sensing biological signals and their properties from the point of view of connection with microprocessor technology.
9. Software tools for program simulation and debugging.
10. Peripherals for displaying and processing input signals. Signal processors in bioengineering.
11. Legislation and safety related to microprocessor technology in medicine.
12. Microprocessor technology trends in medicine, telemedicine, personal monitors, etc.
