Cartographic terminology and technique for creation of cartographic works, principles of GIS technology.

Aims

Understanding of principles of the cartographic interpretation and cartographic work as basic layer GIS.
Students will manage basic theoretical knowledge of digital cartography and inserting of digital cartographic products to the geographic information systems. They will achieve detailed knowledge about national digital map works and will be introduced with equivalent works from EU countries.
