Probabilistic approach to designing. The effects of imposed deformations. Modelling of time-dependent phenomena. Modern methods of design of selected concrete and masonry structures - foundations, special building and engineering structures. Optimisation of design of concrete and masonry structures. Influence and importance of details of designed structure on complete technical solution.

Geometric non-linear behaviour of structures. 6. The effects of deformation stresses. 7. Design of structures using specific methods with respect to the non-linear properties and a model of structure as a composite setting. 8.–9. Modelling time-dependent phenomena, stort-term and long-term processes; basic principles. 10. Modern methods of design of selected concrete and masonry structures - foundations. 11. Modern methods of design of selected concrete and masonry structures - special building structures. 12. Modern methods of design of selected concrete and masonry structures - special engineering structures. 13. Optimisation of design of concrete and masonry structures.
